Email To My Social Security Accounts – 1099 Reminder

Email messages are occasionally sent to groups of people who have created their personal my Social Security account. These emails provide general information only, do not contain any personal information about you and do not request any personal information from you.

Sometimes people receiving these emails contact Social Security to verify that the message is real.

Starting late last week and continuing over the next few days, one of these emails is being sent to remind people that they can obtain an instant replacement of the SSA-1099 through their my Social Security account.

Here is the content of this real Social Security email.
